The beauty of this area can be enjoyed from the back of a horse. Just as in bygone days you can trek through the bush, from Bushaven vis the Te Waiti stream and get a real feel for this pristine native forest valley. Fully guided by Pappi, a local Maori who has hunted this valley all his life, as his father did before him.

 

Many horses are available to hire for groups by arrangement. $180 per person.

Minimum two persons or $ value. 4-6 hour trek
